Connectivity for your business
Leased line or ethernet connections are usually delivered over fibre and provide a symmetric connection with speed up to 10mbps in each direction. Customers can choose a managed router and backup circuit in addition to the primary leased line. Price is dependent upon carrier infrastructure in the customer location. Plum Communications has partnered with multiple carriers to supply leased line services throughout the UK and provides a monitoring service for data connections.
Bespoke pricing applies to leased lines and we would be happy to provide a quotation.
Reliable and Monitored
You need a reliable internet connection for your business. Services which used to be installed on premise are now increasingly hosted and managed in the cloud. This change has resulted in demand for faster connections and for resiliency where a backup service is immediately available if the primary service fails. Knowing whether a circuit is performing well for you is more important than ever. Plum Communications data monitoring allows you ability to view your connection status and report on how it has performed historically. You can set email alerts to notify of dropped connection or slow response.
Backup circuits provide resilience in case of primary circuit failure and can be by additional leased line, FTTP, FTTC, ADSL or mobile data. Where rapid deployment is required the backup may serve as primary service prior to installing the leased line. Depending on requirements the backup may be configured to use the same Static IP addressing.
