I often wondered if these blue indicators worked. Clearly they do as today it was bold blue and yes it was cold. So the colder temperature had activated the sign causing it to change to blue and show visibly that these were icy conditions and to be careful.
Wouldn’t it be good if we had a similar indication for our telephone services? Imagine an indicator which could change colour to show that telephone callers were waiting longer to be answered or that callers were hanging up because the telephone was not answered?
